Running of
the Group
Currently there is a committee of 5 persons who manage
the activities and the accounts. We welcome ideas and practical support from
all members.
The Chairperson and Committee are elected by the Members at the Annual General
Meeting (AGM) held in June/July.
Meetings
We aim to hold 'monthly members' meetings and 'quarterly public meetings' to reach a wider audience - though visitors are always made welcome at all meetings.
Schools
We are keen to reach out to schools and can assist with interfaith activities or presentations to both primary & secondary schools.
Police Training
We are involved
with both new Police Officers and Community Service Officers as part of their
training in community matters.
Re-Naming
As at July 2010 Members agreed to re-name the group as The West Wiltshire Multi Faith Forum (WWMFF). Additionally the Committee are in the process of forming the WWMFF as a registered charity.
